EMT training concluded in Armenia

On April 26th, the 120-hour induction training course for the Armenian Emergency Medical Team (EMT) concluded in Armenia. This training initiative is part of the DG – ECHO funded project: “Stronger Together – Cooperative Action to Respond to Cross-Border Emergencies”.

    

EMT members underwent training according to international standards. The intensive course lasted for 15 days. Armenian EMT was delved into the mechanisms of humanitarian aid, civil defense, and the operational mechanisms of the emergency medical teams. Upon completion, participants were honored with special certificates by Mr. Clemens Von Heimendal, the Country Director of ASB Georgia and Mr. Armen Melkonyan, Head of International Relations Department of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia and the ARM EMT Lead.
