ASB, with its partner organizations, implements a project for displaced individuals from Nagorno-Karabakh

Anna has worked as a nurse at Armenia Republic Hospital since her arrival from Nagorno-Karabakh to the capital city of Armenia in the fall of 2023. Alongside her large family, including several children, she fled from their home city to Yerevan.

“We are alive; we can manage to work. What we lost is indeed irreplaceable, but we are very thankful for the assistance of ASB and its partners" - Anna expressed.

Anna is among the beneficiaries of ASB's ongoing project in Armenia, funded by the German Federal Foreign Office (GFFO). This initiative has provided assistance to over 6,000 individuals from Nagorno-Karabakh in two key areas: cash aid and psychosocial support. Since 2023, our organization, in partnership with Mission Armenia and Action Against Hunger, has implemented the project titled "Cash Transfers and Psychosocial Support to the Displaced Population from Nagorno-Karabakh."

Under the framework of this project, vulnerable target groups, including women, children, and older people, received voucher cards as for finance assistance.

“We are really thankful for everyone who had helped us. I want to thank ASB and its partners for giving us the voucher card which we used to purchase essential items such as food and hygiene products. It was valuable help for us, thank you!” – Anna emphasized.
