On August 13-18, ASB Georgia with partner organization, SSK organized 5 day long summer camp for Ukrainian and Georgian children in Bakuriani as the part of the "Summer School" project. During the camp, children participated in fun and engaging activities: painting the walls, hiking in the forests, joint presentations, sports competition, exploring nature, art class, etc.
The activities focused on improving children's' observation skills, logic and imagination. At the final evening, the children expressed their desire to continue their friendship. The project aims to reduce the degree of stress from the war in Ukraine, as well as, increase communication between Georgian and Ukrainian children.
Under the framework of this project, vulnerable target groups, including women, children, and older people, received voucher cards as for finance assistance.
