A two-day training on the SkyHydrant was held

A two-day training on the SkyHydrant - water filtration system was held for Emergency Medical Teams (EMTs) from Georgia and Armenia, organized by ASB.

On the first day, ASB representatives introduced the SkyHydrant system through theoretical sessions, explaining its purpose, components, and applications in emergency contexts. On the second day, both teams participated in a practical field exercise at Tbilisi Sea, where they observed and practiced firsthand how the system delivers safe drinking water without the need for electricity or chemicals.

This training brought together EMT representatives from both countries, strengthening regional cooperation and enhancing cross-border emergency preparedness in the WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) sector.

This initiative is part of the project “Stronger Together – Cooperative Action to Respond to Cross-Border Emergencies”, funded by the Directorate-General for European Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations (DG ECHO).
