Kutaisi Emergency Management Service received a Fire Truck

Kutaisi Emergency Management Service received a Fire Truck from ASB Georgia through the Japan-funded project "Procurement of a Second-Hand Fire Truck for Kutaisi Municipality".

This initiative not only enhances the capabilities of the Emergency Management Service but also plays a crucial role in reducing the vulnerability of our local community to fires. The project was implemented by Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund (ASB) in close cooperation with the Emergency Management Service.

The handover ceremony was attended by distinguished guests including the Ambassador of Japan to Georgia, Mr. Ishizuka Hideki, the Country Director of ASB Georgia Mr. Clemens von Heimendahl, and representatives from the Emergency Management Service and Imereti region.
