RISE Georgia - Reducing Inequality and Supporting Empowerment for Women in Crises

With this project, we aim to empower women and girls in crisis through focused social and economic support. Covering the Ajara, Samegrelo, and Guria regions of Georgia, the project will run until March 2026. Our primary beneficiaries include survivors of gender-based violence (GBV), internally displaced persons (IDPs), and migrants.

Donor organization: The Republic of Austria, represented by the Federal Minister of Social Affairs, Health, Care, and Consumer Protection.

Project Duration: 18 months (October 2024 – March 2026)

The main goal of the project is to empower women and girls in crisis in western Georgia through targeted social and economic support.

The project area: Ajara, Samegrelo, and Guria regions.

The project target beneficiaries: The survivors of gender-based violence (GBV), internally displaced persons (IDPs), migrants and women in crisis.

The project partner organizations: The project will be implemented in close cooperation with the Samaritan Association of Georgia (SSK), local municipalities, businesses, and companies, as well as other partners in the regions.
