Project Goal: to provide multipurpose cash (MPC) assistance and psychosocial support (PSS) to the most vulnerable individuals affected by the war in Ukraine. The project aims to address their basic needs and facilitate their adaptation to the new environment during their stay in Georgia.
Project Description:
A) Households with people living with disabilities;
B) Households with older persons (over 60 years);
C) Households with multiple children (more than 3 children);
D) Households Headed by single mothers, fathers, or caregivers.
The project also includes the winterization component, which aims to provide support to the most vulnerable households in meeting their basic survival needs during the winter, when energy costs increase.
Within the project, capacity building for Hresnics (Ukrainian Family Helpers) is also conducted with the aim of improving their skills and enhancing their psychosocial resilience. The trainings cover a range of topics including first aid, daycare, communication, conflict management, emotion and stress management, self-realization and future planning, and the provision of psychological support.
