Psycho-social support for children from Nagorno-Karabakh

'Painting is therapy for me,' says Sonia, a 14-year-old girl from Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh), who participates in an art therapy class in Stepanavan. A town in the mountainous region of Armenia near the Georgian border has become a gathering place for the children from Nagorno-Karabakh. In these group sessions, children find a welcoming and safe environment, where they can engage in activities like painting. This creative outlet not only fosters self-expression but also helps them process their feelings and emotions through art.
