Boost Your Skills with ASB’s Free Online Classes

“It’s been a year since I started learning Python through ASB’s IT course. Now I can already write simple programs - I even created a small code script for a company recently,” says 15-year-old Daniel.

In addition to IT, Daniel also takes ASB’s online classes in math, chemistry, and physics. ASB’s free online tutoring program has been running for a year and now includes more than 600 participants. Children aged 7 to 18, as well as adults, can join classes in Georgian, English, science, and IT.

“I really enjoy the whole learning process,” Daniel adds enthusiastically.

Daniel lives in Tbilisi with his 9-year-old brother, Dmytro, and their mother, Kateryna. The family fled Ukraine in March 2022 and has been rebuilding their lives in Georgia for more than two and a half years. Both boys study in the Ukrainian sector in Tbilisi and continue to adapt to their new environment.

Through ASB’s online education program, the brothers have the opportunity to continue learning and developing new skills. Daniel attends online classes in science and IT, while Dmytro focuses on improving his English and participates in IT lessons designed for children, where he learns programming basics through the Scratch platform.

The family’s journey of adaptation in Georgia has been filled with challenges but also with resilience, learning, and hope.

“Last year, I studied the Georgian language. Unfortunately, I couldn’t continue due to a lack of time, but I learned how to read and write,” says Kateryna. “I even memorized some useful phrases like ‘Hello,’ ‘Thank you,’ and ‘Please stop here.’ My family and I are very grateful to ASB for their support — especially for the online education program.”

ASB’s online tutoring program is now open for new students! Whether you want to strengthen your knowledge in English, Georgian, math, chemistry, or physics — or start learning a new profession like IT - you can join our free online classes.
