ASB Georgia hosted “The Picnic: Play, Learn & Make New Friends”

This weekend, ASB Georgia hosted “The Picnic: Play, Learn & Make New Friends” - a day filled with joy, learning, and meaningful connections.

The event created a bridge between the Summer Fun and Back to School campaigns, bringing together 75 Ukrainian and Georgian children (ages 6–15) and their parents to celebrate friendship, integration, and cultural exchange.

Children took part in a variety of fun activities led by animators, including games and quizzes that encouraged teamwork, creativity, and new connections. Meanwhile, parents were invited to a Positive Parenting Workshop facilitated by a psychologist from our partner SSK, offering practical tools and encouragement to support their parenting journey.

The day concluded with a shared picnic, where children and parents gathered in a warm and welcoming atmosphere to enjoy food, laughter, and new bonds.

This initiative was organized under the SEGI Project, funded by Aktion Deutschland Hilft (ADH), which supports integration and inclusivity for children and families in Georgia.
