Armenia is making important progress in developing its Emergency Medical Team (EMT)—strengthening coordination, expanding access to essential equipment, and creating training opportunities. With the support of the project “Stronger Together – Cooperative Action to Respond to Cross-border Emergencies between Georgia and Armenia”, funded by DG ECHO and implemented by ASB, Armenia is reinforcing its capacity to respond to disasters and health emergencies.
During a recent meeting with Armenia’s EMT Team Leader, Armen Melkonyan, ASB Program Manager Teona Julukhadze once again emphasized the crucial role of Armenia’s leadership in fostering cross-border cooperation for effective crisis response.
